Doors are so obviously part of an interior that we can forget how much impact they have on the spaces in which we live and work. Alphenberg knows that a door can be so much more than just a functional entrance to one room or another. An average door offers just under two square metres worth of wall surface, and then there’s both sides! So it shouldn’t be a surprise that we choose to focus on doors. After all, a door’s appearance can be as important for a wall as something like a painting. Leather on a door adds a little ‘je ne sais quoi’. A leather door covering has almost boundless applications, both in terms of format and colour, as well as patterns and relief. There are other qualities too, such as durability, fire retardant properties and noise reduction, which make a leather door pretty much unique.
